Bee Hollyn created Astrobee in 2021. She graduated in 2019 with a BA in Ecoperformance from Antioch College, in Yellow Springs, Ohio, and lived + volunteered in a local garden called Heartbeat for four years afterwards. She is an intuitive guide at Astrobee, yoga teacher and an ecoperformance artist. The plants and planets are her allies in all of her work.
Performance art is a way to synthesize personal transformation, cultural work and ecological justice. Bee shares their toolkit as a theater artist + yoga instructor with Astrobee, to guide her clients to embody their "missing element" as conceptualized by evolutionary astrologer Debra Silverman, of which Bee is a graduate of her Applied Astrology program. Bee also holds a certification from intuitive astrologer, Virgina Rosenberg's Sky Scholar program.
Archetypal cosmology, or astrology, is a way of making meaning of our earthly experience, and herbology, or herbalism, is a collaboration with the living world to get in touch with parts of ourselves that are calling for our attention. Bee has been focusing on the study of planetary archetypes and plant spirit medicine for years after college, while weaving her embodied research into ecoperformance work. Astrobee uplifts her intutive gifts of council and allows her to draw from the tools that craft her own life.
